Invitation for Expression of Interest for the Main Operator

The Urban Renewal Authority (“the Authority”) aims to revitalize the former Central Market building in Central, Hong Kong as well as providing greenery, a public leisure area and other uses in Central to serve the public community at large (currently known as the “Central Oasis”).

The Authority invites submission of Expression of Interest (“EOI”) from any party who is interested in the Main Operator of Central Oasis.

Interested parties are invited to submit in duplicate the duly completed and signed REPLY FORM together with the required List of Submission Items stated therein (contained in the Invitation Brochure for the EOI for the Main Operator of Central Oasis) in sealed plain envelope(s) marked “Confidential” and labeled “Expression of Interest for the Main Operator of Central Oasis” and addressed to “Secretary to the Tender Review Panel of Central Oasis, Urban Renewal Authority” and deposit the said sealed envelope(s) in the designated box situated at the Authority’s office at 26/F, COSCO Tower, 183 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong at or before 5:00 p.m. on 7 January 2013 (Monday).

The Invitation Brochure for the EOI for the Main Operator of Central Oasis can be obtained upon request from the Authority’s office at the address above. Those wishing to make enquiries are requested to contact Mr. K. F. Yau of the Authority at Telephone No. 2588 2876.

This is only an Invitation for Expression of Interest and should not be treated as an Invitation to Offer or an Offer by the Authority.
